Phone Scoop takes a look at the Motorola Droid X2, a near-identical follow-up to one of Verizon Wireless's biggest successes in 2010. Is the sequel as good as the original or does it rehash the same old material?

Here is a video tour of the Motorola Droid X2. It's a solid phone, though perhaps a bit too similar to its predecessor.

Both the Motorola Droid X2 and the Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 can be updated to Android 2.3 Gingerbread thanks to Verizon Wireless and Sony Ericsson. Droid X2 owners can update their handset over the air using the on-board system update tools.

Verizon Wireless Indicates Android 2.3 Headed to Droid X

Verizon Wireless has published support documentation outlining the Android 2.3 Gingerbread system update for the Motorola Droid X. Gingerbread brings a wide number of updates and changes to the Droid X, including new user interface colors and schemes, customizable dock icons, better word prediction and dictionary support, more calendar options, numerous updates and fixes for the email application, better low-light camera performance, and improved battery life with Bluetooth.

Motorola has revealed the 2024 edition of its moto g stylus 5G , a model that typically sits near the upper end of its moto g series of affordable phones. The new model addresses most shortcomings of last year's model, adding wireless charging and boosting the wide-angle camera resolution from 8 megapixel to a more-useful 13 megapixel.
