Samsung Offers a Peek at the Dart for T-Mobile

Samsung has published some details about the SGH-T499 Dart for T-Mobile. The Dart is an Android 2.2 Froyo bar-style handset that has a 3.14-inch touch display, 3G, Wi-Fi, GPS, and Bluetooth. The Dart also includes a 3 megapixel camera with video capture, but it lacks a flash. It supports microSD cards up to 32GB (2GB card included with phone), it has a 3.5mm headset jack, and it comes with Swype preinstalled. The Samsung Dart is available from T-Mobile.com for free with a new contract.
Same ol', same old
All these touchscreen phones are starting to look alike. Where is the creativity and ingenuity in design? Besides Apple and Nokia (we are speaking hardware) these other phones are just blah. Before the smartphone craze (circa 2007) phones where at least different enough to stand out. Nowadays not so much. It seems Samsung is becoming the new Blackberry of design, dark, plastic, and dull. Why are companies not taking enough time to come up with something exciting design wise and NEW?
