AT&T today announced a new pre-paid GoPhone plan that includes unlimited talk, text, and web for $50 per month. The plan is compatible with feature phones and quick messaging devices to both new and existing customers. The new $50 plan also includes unlimited text and instant messaging to Mexico, Canada, and 100 more countries. The plan will become available starting June 26. AT&T is offering a slightly different version for smartphone customers. Smartphone customers can pay $50 per month for unlimited voice and messaging, and then chose a data plan at an additional cost of between $5 and $25 per month depending on the option selected by the customer.
HA
finally, nobody can tell me "boost is cheaper" when I sell them a gophone.
no more "but sir, you get what you pay for!" lines will have to come out of my mouth. what a joyous day.
Is this AT&T plan $35 after 18 months like Boost?
Oh, one more thing. Can I get an Android Phone on this AT&T plan for $50 with unlimited data?
Close to fifteen years back, I once experimented with smoking a pickle. It was an elaborate, and time consuming affair, but after all said and done, and the charred insides of the gherkin were tossed aside, I do recall the pickledness....what are you ...

When's AT&T going to do something for seniors
The only news I ever see about wireless offerings, is about the next new unlimited plan. With smarter phones, and better data plans. This year was supposed to be the year that all the baby boomers were entering their pensioner days. I expected to see more than just tracfone's SVC brand to be offering decent prepaid wireless for us oldeys. Is there seriously so little money to be made out of us, that all the major big boys would just deny our existence. We don't need unlimited anything, and data is wasted upon us - what's it going to take to make carriers sit up and take care of us seniors?
$29.99 senior plan at at&t
200 minutes, 500 N&W minutes.
VZW offers the same plan, FYI.
he asked when AT&T was going to offer a senior plan. He didn't ask what was the best plan $30 could get you, what net10 has, etc etc. I answered his question, all you other fools are off topic.

Just a little frustrated......
Oaky so yea this is a good deal but who would want a contract if they could get unlimited everything for $50 a month?? With a contract through AT&T you get unlimited calling for $69.99! Just calling!! For someone who is wanting one line this is a really good deal but for someone who works in a retail store this is going to kill us! We already have a hard enough time trying to sell phones with walmart selling the Torch, Inspire, and Captivate for like $49 with a upgrade or new activation! And Bestbuy has the inspire for $29.95 with an upgrade! And these days people dont care about customer service they just want to get the phone they want at the cheapest price they can and then come to me when people at walmart and bestbuy mess up their accou...

Coverage
I have been told that the go phone coverage lacked the coverage of the post paid plans. I wish they were equal... 😕
sad but true however at&t has the most coverage out of any prepaid cellphone provider as a matter of fact the coverage offered is more effective than sprints postpaid coverage im not counting roaming rights for either company just owned bandwidth
