ITC Puts Off Kodak v. Apple/RIM Decision
Jun 24, 2011, 7:31 AM by Eric M. Zeman
The U.S. International Trade Commission announced that it will delay making a final decision regarding Eastman Kodak's patent lawsuit against both Apple and Research In Motion. Kodak sued Apple and RIM over camera-related patents in January 2010. The ITC initially ruled that the phone makers hadn't violated the imaging companies patents. Kodak appealed and the ITC agreed to revisit the case. Kodak is asking that the ITC block Apple and RIM from importing the offending products. The ITC didn't explain the reason behind today's delay.
