T-Mobile and HTC today announced the myTouch 4G Slide, a new Android device that features an 8 megapixel camera with an array of sophisticated capabilities. Aside from auto-focus and dual LED flash, the myTouch 4G Slide's camera includes zero shutter lag for immediate image capture, Sweep Shot for capturing panoramas, HDR for better performance in high-contrast environments, improved low-light performance, and burst shot for taking a series of pictures quickly. It captures 1080p HD video, and includes on-device video editing software. Other features of the myTouch 4G Slide include a 3.7-inch Super LCD display, Android 2.3 Gingerbread, HTC Sense 3.0, 1.2GHz dual-core SnapDragon processor, as well as a slide-out QWERTY keyboard for messaging. The HTC myTouch 4G Slide also adds group messaging, Qik video chatting software, and the HTC Genius Button for voice commands. The myTouch 4G Slide will become available at some point in July for $199.99 after rebates with new agreement.
