Nuance's Dragon Go! App Brings Better Voice Search to iPhone
Jul 14, 2011, 7:39 AM by Eric M. Zeman
Nuance Communications today released Dragon Go! for the iPhone, a new voice-based search tool. Rather than offer simple voice dictation for search queries, Nuance says that Dragon Go! is contextually aware and will thus offer better search results. The app uses Nuance's Dragon voice recognition technology with "natural language understanding, unique analytical tools, and elements of artificial intelligence." The search application also combs hundreds of top content sites, such as Bing, Facebook, iTunes, Twitter, and YouTube, to deliver more relevant results. Dragon Go! can also be used to issue voice commands and works with a number of different native iPhone applications, such as the music player, Maps, or the phone application. Dragon Go! for the iPhone is free to download and use.
