Nov. 17 Next Date for Verizon LTE Network Expansion

Verizon Wireless today announced that it will expand the footprint of its Long Term Evolution 4G network yet again on November 17. It already has an expansion planned for October 20, and together with the November 17 expansion, will see 175 markets blanketed with LTE by mid-November. The November 17 expansion covers 13 new markets, including: Little Rock, Ark.; Savannah, Ga.; Cedar Rapids and Des Moines, Iowa; Lexington, Ky.; Kansas City and Springfield, Mo.; Lincoln, Neb.; Orange County, N.Y.; Greater Providence; Rapid City, S.D.; Roanoke, Va.; and Appleton, Wis. Verizon is also expanding the presence of its LTE footprint in the already established markets of Louisville, Ky.; Grand Rapids, Mich.; Minneapolis/St. Paul, Minn.; Pittsburgh, Pa.; and Nashville, Tenn. Verizon has been rolling out its LTE 4G network aggressively since its December 2010 launch.
