Samsung's Exynos Chip Boasts 2GHz Dual-Core Power

Samsung has announced a new mobile processor called the Exynos 5250. Based on the ARM Cortex A15 architecture, it is a dual-core 2GHz system-on-a-chip that supports WQXGA (2560 x 1600) resolution, 3D gaming, 3D displays, and 3D video/image capture. Samsung says the Exynos 5250 has twice the processing power of its 1.5GHz predecessor, and is manufactured using a 32nm processes. Samples are available to Samsung's customers now, but the chip won't reach mass production until the second quarter of 2012.
