Google Wallet/Checkout
I went to the Google Wallet website to see which websites accepted the feature. Among them were Buy.com and JR.com. However, when I clicked on the Google Checkout button, it says that my current method of payment is invalid. Why is this when I have $50 worth of credit in my Google Wallet? Anyone having this issue or am I just doing something wrong? Am I not actually able to use this online?

Won't sync all my FaceBook contacts & pix like I easily did w/ my DroidX
Been reading how the Galaxy Nexus won't simply sync up with all my FB contacts like my any Moto Droid will easily do. One forum recommended I get the app HaxSync. (I think I have to also 1st install the official FB app). Any info/input/advice regarding if this is the only (or the best) way to get all my FB contacts (with their contact pix) on the Galaxy Nexus I'm about to get. Is there any reason to get the Droid Razor instead... Still wanting the G.Nexus at this point.
To hell with Facebook. Get a real social life. loser
Oh...Oh
Really like this device but already begun with a bad start
Didn't the previous Nexus release with problems as well?

😎
When will the New Galaxy Nexus come out?
Not for a long time! First, VZN must release an update for ICS 4.06 because CDMA is not compatible with the GSM update 4.05 for other carrier devices. VZW must then discount the original handset the way they've done with the HTC Rezound (from $299 t...

Rezound > Nexus
i mean...look at the specs. rezound has better front and back camera, better processor and will be in ice cream sandwich soon enough. also samsung's super bright screens have usually resulted in poor battery life. i've seen some crazy symbian phones from asia that can do far more than ay iphone or droid. i wouldn't mind seeing one of those on VZW LTE.
Android is all about what OS version you can or want to run. In my opinion having a stock 4.0 experience is going to have a HUGE benefit over the life of the phone. I am not knocking the rezound, but all things considered...this phone has a better d...

I have had symbian phones and in their day they were great, most symbian phones with exception of a few SE's and a Samsung or two were made by Nokia, which basically has orphaned it. Also as far as I know there never has been a symbian cdma phone, an...

I am trying to decide between these 2 phones myself. I just want a phone that's solid and reliable, and just works with few issues or lags. Call quality and basic ability to function are all I care about. I have the Incredible 1 now so was thinking o...

Nexus in Europe
I took my Nexus LTE to China and I received coverage there, text and data, however didn't try calling. I called Verizon and they said yes that the Nexus LTE is classified as a global device and that I can use it internationally. So has anyone tried this phone in Europe? I had it working in China.
Currently I have my personal Nexus and simple global flip phone from my company, and I am hoping that I can dump my flip phone and use this everywhere.
TIA,
Alan

Call audio dropping issue?
At random times, it's like my phone mutes itself, but the mute button hasn't been activated. My wife said that her Galaxy Nexus has done it also. I'm just wondering if others have had this problem.
More details:
- I can hear caller on other end, but they can't hear me.
-Has happened as early as 2.5 minutes into a call, and as late as 7 minutes
- Have always had at least 2 bars of service at time of issue
- Mute button is off

call audio
the call audio is very choppy i keep getting a clicking noise when on a call .. the signal is weak ( my iphone had a good signal) overall the device is great if google/verizon fix the signal and call audio... i would be a very happy camper....

the OS shouldn't really matter
if i had verizon the only reason i would consider this phone would be the screen quality, and that its not filled up with vzw bloatware.
the os does not make the phone, alot of the high end androids will have ics soon
They will...the reason I am keeping the GNex is that it will be first in line for updates and like you said it has almost no bloatware.

Sad
I wish I could edit my review. My signal went from acceptable to pathetic. Sunday I completely lost signal when 3 other people with my with Verizon had 3-4 bars and my 3G disconnected for about 30 minutes. Had to do a battery pull and it still wasn't too stable afterwords. Also, in the music app when I adjusted the equalizer the phone would lock up completely and I would have to do a battery pull (this happened 3 times). I really wanted to love this phone. But the signal issue alone was enough to return it. I exchanged it for the Rezound which has so far been good. I will wait atleast a full week to post a review on it.
P.S. Verizon has said they are aware of the signal issue and are adjusted the software to "match other Verizon phones". ...

Saw The Phone Today...VERY Disappointed
The screen is beautiful. Now to the rest.
Camera
Everyone talks about it. I was expecting features similar to my Samsung Fascinate. Previous Samsung smartphone cameras had leading features. This camera has much less configurability that any other Samsung camera including only 5 scenes, no focus choice, no exposure choice, no ISO choice, no "anti-shake", no image adjustments.
They make it easier to upload an image, but what difference does it make if the image has problems? My test exposures were ok; many online are awful.
Note, Samsung smartphones have had panoramic pictures for some time already.
Screen Real Estate
It is very cute to have the control button rotate with the screen. However, they are taking 150 or so of those ...

As for all the camera complaints...if you want a full feature camera go buy a digital SLR. Anti-shake on a phone camera? Really??? The camera on phones is suppose to be for moments when you don't have a camera available but want to take a quick photo ...

Just letting everyone know...
There is an Google Wallet .apk available now. You can download it right to the phone and install as 3rd party app. 😁
Just an update...google is giving you $10 for signing up for google wallet. I tried it out today and it worked flawlessly. Very impressive and I'm hoping the technology catches on. 🙂

phone reviews
It is almost laughable when I read the reviews of the Galaxy Nexus and see reviews that give the phone low ratings for things that were listed in the specs for the phone before they got it (no memory card, 5mp camera etc.) Review a phone for how good or bad it is, not that you think it should be.
