Were the cable companies were able to purchase that spectrum with special conditions? Verizon can eschew auction rules by using other companies as proxies. They do it all the time. Nix this deal and let's move on. Verizon and AT&T you are what you are. Get to work building out the spectrum you already own. No more mergers or major spectrum purchases for you.
