was just about to post this same release, but Rich is on the ball!

Thought people might want to know the current cities list:
As of Friday, January 7, 2005, Verizon Wireless’ EV-DO network will be available in the following major metropolitan areas:

Man, if verizon would get on the ball and get service in oklahoma, i'd be inclined to get hooked up again. i like the idea of mobile tv. makes me wish i was still in texas.

I would love to learn what it is about mobile tv that you are looking forward to. How much time in the day would you be inclinded to watch it? During what hours of the day? What activity would this replace that you currently do during these times? ...

VCAST?

Is this service only for streaming video/audio? I see where unlimited web access is included, but my question is whether sending pictures or video clips via email is included as well, or is that another service? I'm not with Verizon currenlty, but may switch since I live in one of their rollout areas.

i think im liking the lg 8000
I would lean towards the Samsung, we have had problems with the 8000 it is buggy, unless the issues have all been ironed out. I am anxious to know when the Moto E815 will be released.

Heya, does anyone have a link to pics of the new Samsung A890? I've seen the LG VX8000, and the Audiovox, but can't seem to find the Samsung.
