Battery life
Slightly larger battery, same size display, but 25% less talk time vs the Photon? And it's a real shame to see Motorola follow the poor standard being set by the other phone makers with an integrated battery. I have to switch out batteries in my Photon once every 1-2 days, as it can't make it through an entire day with anything more than minimal usage. Poor move Moto. And the display on the Photon was probably the most common negative comment it received, yet it looks like they hardly did anything different on the Q. While I'm sure it'll be a good phone, I see it as a disappointment, especially considering how long it's been since HTC and Sammy have released their flagships for the year.
The original Photon has WiMAX for 4G, which was notorious for bad battery life.
LTE is generally better for battery life, especially with the newest Snapdragon chips that integrate the radio and processor on one chip. That makes a huge difference.

Eric or Rich
The Photon Q only has 4.8MB available to user for storage is that a typo or for real.
Whoops! That should be GB, of course.
Fixed.
Thank you. 🙂
