originally promised ICS updates for some devices like the original Photon, and then later said no. Don't believe it until it actually happens folks.
ditto that......with such a wonderful track record whatever they say in regards to upgrading is worthless. Keeping a death grip on bootloaders is even more promising.
Yeah but was that after Motorola had been purchased by Google? Now that they are owned by Google I think you can expect timelier updates.
These pending updates were when the Google acquisition was still in the works but it seems like Motorola kept its autonomy and is continuing business as usual. It seems to me like Google may be trying to follow Apple's business model with its Motorola...
