Does MetroPCS support all Alcatel 768 features?
MetroPCS is forcing all subscribers to trade in their CDMA phones for GSM phones.
Their only GSM flip-phone is the Alcatel 768.
(1) Does MetroPCS support all Alcatel 768 features? Including the various email and browser options? Does MetroPCS support the same Alcatel 768 features that T-Mobile does?
(2) How reliable is this phone? Is the menu system intuitive and convenient? Does it have predictive text mode (T9word)?
(3) Subjectively, how sensitive is the transmitter and receiver? How is its clarity?

Importing VCF Files to update address book?
My mother uses this phone. Overall it has good mobile connectivity. However, I'm trying to help her update the address book by importing a .vcf file. The .vcf file was exported from Gmail, however the phone only reads .vcf 2.1 and not 3.0. How do I remedy this issue? Is it possible to reverse a .vcf 3.0 version to a .vcf 2.1?

How to use the GPS feature?
While this phone has a built-in GPS capability, there is no way to make use of it - at least I can't find any way to do this. Your feedback on this is much appreciated.

Only need the basics
Hi, I only need basic 3g. Phone I have now is an old Nokia-6263 2g.
Anyone have an opinion on this Alcatel 768
Carrier is T-mobile
Thanks....
Solid device, nice feel, good screen and big buttons, you will like it, MPCS just launched it, so TMO should be soon.
