Google Sync is terrible anyway
It creates duplicate entries in your calendar and contacts....I'm getting tired of looking at my contacts and seeing that they are now all in quadruplicate and looking at my calendar and seeing that I now have 200 copies of the same event scheduled at the same time....good riddance if you ask me.
I've never had that problem and i've been using it since it came out. Been quite helpful for someone like me who swaps phones multiple times a year.
