This version of iOS sure does seem to have a lot of patches already. It almost seems like Apple is trying to become the next Microsoft by failing to fix bugs before they are released.

Actually they have been making minor improvements to the maps in the US....it's not an either/or kind of thing, Japan is smaller and more densely populated, this means it is easier and less time consuming to map than the US.
