I wonder how long it will take to get LTE up and running nationwide on 800mhz.
Also, Sprint's added 1900 MHz came from NEXTEL.
Also, most of Clearwire's 2.5 GHz came from NEXTEL.

You won't see this frequency used for quite some time
Still, any progress is good progress. I hope Sprint gets the funds they need - keeps the unlimited data and go to town on the other carriers.

The post states that Sprint will deploy CDMA 3G (i.e. EV-DO) on the 800MHz band. That is incorrect. Sprint is/will deploy CDMA 1X on that band in addition to LTE in the future. However, EV-DO will NOT be deployed
