I guess I have a different definition of "shutdown" than the "News" Media have...
A 16 day vacation for 17% of the Federal Employees, a "shutdown" does not make. Let's not forget that the costs of closing war memorials and national parks (which are run by private companies in most cases) with armed guards probably cost more than the fat bloated pig of a government actually saved. If we followed the Constitution, we would shut down 83% of the Federal government and get rid of the unnecessary and mostly illegal tumor weighing down the nation.
