New naming scheme
I had a customer with a heavy accent call me asking about this. He just couldn't grasp that The One, the One S, and the at&t phone the One X, were different devices. I think I spoke to him for about half an hour trying damn hard to explain to him these are totally separate devices. I didn't get through to him. Anyways, they need a new naming scheme pronto. What will their phone names be like in a few years? The One XXVC+- Type R? Too much to remember for a customer.
This One, That One, The Next One, The One After That, and so on...
So the One X is the predecessor to the One.
I can't blame a marketing guru for this stupid decision because being utterly clueless seems to be a hallmark of a successful marketing executive, but somewhere in that chain of command in HTC there oug...

4.3 Update
This update cannot be downloaded OTA. You are required to be connected to wifi due to the size (around 560mb). While trying to download it at work, I was told (it wasn't a suggestion) to connect to wifi before it would begin.
If you have an MBB device, you can connect the phone to the MBB by wifi. Technically, you are then still downloading it over the cellular network. This method should work for you.

The end of expandable memory?
I should probably get rid of my SII in favor of an SIII and keep it forever. I'm starting to think it's the last good phone with expandable memory. âšī¸
Expandable memory causes a lot of headaches for developers. Though I think 16GB phones are a load of bull, 64gb should be fine.

64 gigs is plenty of memory. I have half that in my phone and have over 500 songs, tons of pictures and apps and still have two-thirds of it left.

I love the Samsung Galaxy Note 2. It is one of the worst phone builds every (super cheap plastic, broken twice so far) but (in my opinion it has the most amazing software (it has 6 or 7 features that I use that most Android don't offer custom to Samsung)).
So now, here come the HTC One, by far one of the most beautiful phones in aluminum (again, just a personal opinion). However, one would have to be crazy to not put a cover/case on it. I always roll my eyes when I see people carrying their Iphone 5's (with an $800 value) without a case. No matter how careful you are, someone will bump you and then it flies away.
So, if I was careful enough (which I am not) to not need a case, I would snap up the HTC One immediately, even though I w...

Can Blinkfeed be turned off/set to WiFi only?
I don't have unlimited data... Blinkfeed sounds nice, but I'd like to be able to control its data usage.

Yep. While in Blinkfeed, click on the menu button, settings, Autorefresh. Select WiFI only.

My Next Phone
This phone is even better than the One X+ I use now. My S3 sits on my desk as a spare, as the One X+ screen and build quality blows it away.
