AT&T Intros Mobile Share Value Plans for Less Green

Confused with new pricing

How are these value plans if the price goes up? 1GB is currently $40 and 2GB is $50, the article says will be $45 and $55 and so on. If "so on" and that rate means goingup in thoes increments that would mean my current 10GB plan at $120 would be $135.

I must be misunderstanding something.
I think, what isn't mentioned in this article, is that the per-smartphone cost is dropping. Note that at 300 MB, it's $40 per smartphone now. Before, it was $50. At 1 and 2 GB, it was $45, so that's probably $35, then at 10 GB it's probably $20 if tha...

Actually even the prices on those 1 GB and 2 GB plans are lower if you add it up. Smartphones on those two plans were $45 per phone, where they were $40 on all of the plans higher than that.

It's even more expensive

for me than their old pricing plans. Me & an AT&T operator did the math today. C-Net sorta agrees:
