Anyone know if there has been a 2.0 unlock/jailbreak released?

Is there a good wireless headset that will work with the iphone 2g bluetooth? I mainly want to use it to listen to music.

I discovered that AT&T works in my upstairs office, so I want to switch from Verizon with my Glance phone to AT&T with an iPhone.

I see that there is talk time difference between the iPhone 2g and the 3g. Which one should I get if all I want to do is talk on the phone, take pix with the camera, and sometimes take videos with the videocam? (Does the 2g have videocam?)

I might enjoy sending photos from iPhont to my blog, but since that is not my profession or even hobby, I would not mind it not being the speediest transfer. I am not a phone web surfer or message sender or text messager.

I like the idea of having more hours talk time with the 2g.

😁 i found this funny app on the App Store balled RUSexy. basicaly its a classic love detector. you aim your phone at someone and press a button. this funny voice then rates how sexy they are. the funny part is you control what rating they get by tilting your phone. I was wondering if anyone else has found some funny apps they like?

i would like to buy the iphone but i cant afford the service. I am looking to buy a used iphone and simply add my sim. the question i have is if the iphone is always connected to the internet, and if i will be charged for it. if it is then can i block the satallite internet and just use wifi?

So I have some, shall we say, indecent, pictures of my wife stored on my phone. Is there anyway I can hide or lock a picture or album so that someone looking at my phone won't stumble upon them?

I bought a used iPhone on craigslist and activated it through iTunes with a new AT&T account. How does the warranty work? The person that I bought it from purchased it at the beginning of this year. Does apple only honor the warranty for the original purchaser? Or would I still be covered?

It's not a huge deal, obviously, since I didnt ask before I purchased the phone and activated it. Thought I'd ask anyways.

Has anyone who has the first version of the iPhone, updated to 2.0 and noticed that the volume when you listen to your messages is barely audible? Also I use to be able to hear those voicemails via my bluetooth. Now I don't even have the option.

Just trying to trouble shoot if it was the update or an app I downloaded from iTunes Apps Store.

Where can I order an unlocked Iphone. I know TMOBILE EUROPE they have them everywhere... I need one for Tmobile United states... Any ideas????

So i figured it out it took me a while but you know what i figured out FINALLY how to get ringtones that i want on my phone for free!!!
I will teach you guys how to do it and then you can thank me later.

So what you need to do is actually go in to your Itunes and find a song you want. When you do that if it is not yet converted to AAC you might want to do that.

Now that you got that done what you wanna do is chop the song that you want (up to 30 secs) and then do another AAC conversion so then you have that 30 sec clip by its self.

Now what you wanna do is right click the song that you cut to that 30 second clip and click on open in windows explorer ( i am a PC user if you need help with mac let me know and i will figured it out)...

I just wanted to know if anyone knew the specific reason why apple does not allow mms on both versions of the I phone.

OK, question. Why is it that Apple only let they're stores and corporate stores release this phone? Like us the authorized retailers. We are not aloud to pretty much touch this phone. We barely know anything about it cause they kept it away from us. It sucks, like they are starting to single the authorized retailers out now. I mean all we sell is At&t service, alot of people confuse us with a actual corporate store. Has anyone seen the shirts for us? Big letters saying authorized retailer on the shirt. I dont know i think its kinda b/s.

Do you think at&t and apple deserve a class action lawsuit? Both apple and att advertise this new iphone 3g as "twice as fast, half the price". Flat out lie! to buy the phone you must activate a 24 month contract through att, the old iphone coast an additional $20.00 and included 200 text messages per month. New 3g phone cost an additional $30.00 per month and includes no text messages! You can but the text option for and additional $5.00 per month. That's $15.00 more per month, @ 24 months = $360.00 more than the original! on top of that the 3g service is not available in all att coverage areas! I'm not talking about rural areas but in major metro areas, not disclosed at time of sale! we as consumers have been taking it in the shorts from ...

I'm checking the Apple store every day seeing if they have any refurb iPhones there. But meanwhile, is there anyplace that has New iPhone 2Gs for sale still. I'm not paying $75 a month but i will pay $60 if I have to.

I have the AT&T Service & the iPhone as well. I am somewhat bored with it though. My Roommater has just gotten a slider from Sony Ericsson. I can't work T9 or the numeric keypad too well anymore but I really like the setup & all the extra features on her phone. But I love how my iPhone can Sync so easily & I can only afford to buy another phone not another phone & an iPod.

Keep the iPhone or does anyone have any other suggestions on another phone for me?

So I've upgraded my firmware on my original iPhone. Other than the normal buggs like the application freezing, I have been really irritated by what seems like a bug that I have heard nothing about.

When I am listening to music I like to keep it in the iPod when I lock it. This allows me to see the song time, rate it, and choose songs easier (mostly when driving or walking) right from the unlock.

I've noticed now that since the upgrade, the iPhone will randomly go to the home page when I unlock it. I can't seem to find the case where it does it, it just seems to do it randomly. In addition, when you are in the iPod and you select the icon to look at the back of the album, the list always starts from the first song, not showing on scr...
