Review: LG Muziq

Just picked this phone up today, was planning on originally getting the 8400 but the pulled it today, so for the same price after mail-in I got this phone. If anyone has any questions as far as features, or anything goes, just let me know, and I'd be more than happy to answer.

Does This Phone Has A Picture Mail Section Or Can Recive Picture mail

My daughter has a Fusic that's acting flakey. I was thinking I would replace it with a Muziq, but I don't see it on Sprint's web pages. Has it been discontinued?

In helping my wife find a solution to her iPhone picture messaging issues, I stumbled across this application that I've downloaded to my Muziq and it's a dream -- unlimited picture messages, posting of pictures directly to facebook, and a ton of other stuff.

I have a ton of mp3 ringtones that i've uploaded onto the MMC but how do I use them with contacts or in general.

When my phone is plugged-in throught the usb and i want to use my phone as a modem it tells me "Please initiate dial-up networking on your pc." i'm not exactly sure what that means let alone how to do it. I dont even think i know what it means to use my phone as a modem. If someone could explain it would help me out a great deal thanks!

I just go the LG AX-565 the other day, I like it so far, but I'm still trying to figure out how to make my mp3 songs a ringtone. Does anybody know how to do this????

I have been programming my email accounts into my phone. Most are successful except my yahoo account and my pop3 account. I can blame my lack of total ability to understand all the steps needed to do the pop3 account, but absolutely no success with my yahoo. I keep receiving a notice that says unable to connect to server (S7122).


Anyone have any tips?

It's nice to see that Sprint finally has another phone for their company coming out. Their weak selections lately make me wonder whats going on with the company. Other than some cosmetic changes what we have is the same old fusic repackaged. Bluetooth 1.1, same screen, 1.3 megapixal. I mean, come on do a little improvement to make it more appealing!!! I currently own the original Fusic. It's ability to just hold more memory just doesn't seem to merrit the upgrade.

I was at the sprint store today and i saw both phones. i dont know what to go for. any help????

is it just my phone or are others having this issue. when i first got the phone it would allow me to txt and listen to music at the same time. now it wont. 👿 it will pause my music and then play the ringtone or vibrate depending on volume setting. then i go back to music player and find the infamous error m506. 👿 what exactly is this. i get this on some songs i tray to play as well. 😢 if i convert them to a different bit rate they play fine. any help?

Well I would now rate the phone poorly. I'm on my third and waiting for my account to finish migration so another can be sent to me. First one wasn't picking up signal very good so that was the first replacement. Second one the keypad stopped working, right before that happened I started seeing an increase in dropped calls. Third one the volume is no longer adjustable. This is a software problem. I have given up on the FM transmitter as it is nearly useless with the amount of stations crowding the airwaves in the area I'm in. I'm going to ask for a switch from the Muziq with this replacement. I have called LG about the phone and I hope I never have to call them again. This was my first and last LG phone I will ever own. I'm sick of...

When I try to reset factory default it asks for a lock code? Where do I find this?

What has a better camera the lg muziq, the RAZR v3m, or the katana dlx. That will really help in my desicion to pick a phones. Thanks

I was wondering if there is a way to reset this device to factory setting without having to go through every contact and picture deleting them one by one

Some of my MP3s don't play on the phone once they are transferred. I get an error M506. It probably depends on how they were encoded. Has anyone else seen this problem and do you have a work-around / fix?

my phone said there was a new version (v-5) available and would i like to update. so me being the guinea pig, did so.

now all i get is a white display w the sprint power up logo on the sub and that's it..!!..

anyone have any ideas wtf happened?

btw- i tried all the normal troubleshooting. i.e.- pop off battery, etc...

I recently upgraded from the fusic and it had windows media player on it.
The muziq does not and the only way to play music is thru the sprint music stor player (wich sucks)Even music on my Sd card can only play thru print music store.
Is there some way some how to hack/download windows media player into this phone??

Just in case fellow Muziq users haven't checked, there's a new software update available which will update to version LX570V05. The most notable change is different animations for power up/down; hopefully, some other issues were addressed.

The Muziq can handle up to 4GB for the Micro SD card. However, does it work with a 4 GB Micro SD HC card? Or does it have to be a non-HC card?
