High end phone for .99 cents?

There's this company out there selling the kickflips for .99 cents? Is this legit? If it's supposed to be a high end phone? Anybody bought from them? Their site is complete-wireless.com
It must be like wirefly. Its prolly legit but you no doubt end up signing all sorts of third party contracts.

TV output

I've heard of this on phones in Japan, I may be wrong but im pretty sure this is the first one over here. What kind of output is it? ide assume a cord that adapts into a composite signal, yellow red and white. But I'm very interested if anyone knows. And do we know what TV services this MVNO will offer? and whos network do they use?
This phone is from Korea. service name is Halio. SKtelecom and Earthlink behind Halio. Currently I'm not sure wich TV service they are going to but I'll have more information later on.
if you want to know more about this
please email to me, I can gi...

Exactly. The optional TV cable plugs into the side of the phone, and outputs to standard composite c...

What is the time frame we can expect to see your review of this phone? Also what is your opinion of MVNO? What I'm asking is are they somehow less reliable to some degree compared to the large regional carriers. ok thanks
Tell me the packaging isn't freaking sweet! I mean, they use magnets! MAGNETS! Haha!

(Got my Kickflip a few days ago - jury's still out as I'm a "power" user... but you definitely get everything they say you do. The hardware itself is pretty damn ...

i wanna know what the OS speed is like. how the bluetooth works with browsing into phones. (if possible). and user friendliness
How does the Internet compare to other carriers?

I also would like to know when you will have a full review. I need a phone but I don't want to buy one w/out a review. NOBODY has a review yet! How long does it take? (

No BT?

Those look like high-end phones and either one have bluetooth.
What a shame?
Meh - styling looks like Hello Kitty (as in a previous article), it will probably be geared towards the youth market. The 2MP camera is a nice bonus, but doesn't make it a high end phone.

South Korea advanced CDMA

Finally, a company that will bring advanced CDMA phones from South Korea to the US. Verizon and Sprint have been peddling low end crap for so long while all the manufacturers that provide them with phones make much more advanced phones for South Korea and China. Hopefully we get the same thing going on the GSM side of things where Europe tends to lead with launches of the latest handsets quite a bit before the US.
don't get too excited, this is just one offering. it's a launch phone too, so it has to draw in customers somehow. The general trend of EUR getting the newest phones and services will continue (or asia if you're talking CDMA) as long as US consumers...

Honestly, I thine the Euro carriers will always have things before North America. There's a much larger potential customer base in Europe with all carriers being GSM, not to mention Europe's much larger population. In North America, the market is di...

Jolting the giants awake

This new launch may very well prove to be more popular than anybody thinks. If Helio can draw in subscribers looking for handsets different from anything on the market, they might have themselves a very big hit. Even I'm intrigued.

P.S. Maybe this'll jolt Verizon into rethinking their handset lineup.
Im just waiting for a phone that will really pike my interest. Im already goin to join them when i get the chance. If they have "That phone that is like nothing else phone" then i will join early
Verizon and Sprint is degressing the CDMA industry in United States. Verizon first introduced EV-DO and V-Cast to the shore. However, that was already introduced in other parts of the world well before 2004. I might be wrong about the date, but it is ...

Are the ones providing the network for Helio. Helio is an MVNO based on CDMA. They've got carrier agreements w/both Sprint & VZW. So, they won't bring anything to market that couldn't be done by "the giants."

Hopefully that phone in the picture won't suck.

All the experience I've had with Chinese designed and manufactured phones have been bad.

Bad RF, bad useability, bad built.

This phone looks nice, but VK is a Chinese company.
