Twitter, Foursquare to Offer Place Tagging in Tweets

I'm surprised Foursquare hasn't thrown in the towel already. When they split the checkin functionality off into Swarm and changed the system all around, they caused thousands of long-time users and superusers to abandon the service altogether. So many parts of their site/app are full of bugs and never get fixed. I don't know how they manage to stay afloat.
