GOSH I WISH THEY STILL SAT ON THE BOARD OF CINGULAR!

🙄 thanks alot attws. why couldn't you make that a clause too. 👿 🙄
Well, how about this..

CINGULAR has already deployed HSDPA and probably will be the first HSDPA operator in the world..

So just to re-iterate..
1> FIRST in HSDPA Commercialization, BEFORE DoCoMo
2> HSDPA with data rates on initial phones/ data...

Just like most concept cars, never see daylight..

100 MHz spectrum... even the best optimizations/ spectrum conservation techniques will probably not bring it down to any acceptable range..

which operator in the world has access to that much spectrum in the first place?

in the US, you have the government agencies fighting the telecom/wireless operators fighting the tv/radio analog broadcastors all for measly amounts of airwave..

similar stuff in UK where there is constant struggle between the operators..

Hence, this 4th generation experiment from DoCoMo is just that. Probably not going to be the basis of the real 4th generation technology..

DAMN!

Thats preettty speedy! but thats ALOT of spectrum required to get it that fast........... Landline solutions are going to be left in the dust if wireless keeps getting so quick. Tha fastest they go is well... fiber sorta has an undiscovered speedcap so nevermind.......
