Guys,
Unless you have REV-A equipment, you aint gunna get REV-A speeds. So for everyone who is posting asking if "my speed on my 6700" will go up, of course, no.

Slowing down, common sense, and intelligence go a long way to answering our own questions I think.

faster upload speed to EVDO now ?

Will Rev A free up some bandwidth so us older evdo users can get faster upload speed? 128 isnt terrible but would like to think the cards and phones we have now can do more then that..but its just not setup to go faster at the moment. Would love to see this work
Agreed.

I would also like to see less latency. Trying to use VoIP or IP-Sec VPN over the VZW Broadband PC Card is painful at times. I often get 200-300ms latency with their 1x-EVDO offering.
It's technically not an issue of "freeing up bandwidth", but EVDO Rev. A does support much faster upload speeds: 1.8 Mbps. You'll need a Revision A card on a Revision A network to get that, but it is coming.
