Remember Qwest Wireless?
Qwest was and is the first major MVNO cellular venture from any carrier. Qwest picks their phones, All of their phones are branded as Qwest, all the programming in the phones say Qwest, the Vision Homepage is Qwest, and the bill comes from Qwest. In every way, shape, and form, the customer is given the impression that the service is entirely Qwest. However, they solely use Sprint towers. Qwest bundles up all their offerings (home, long distance, DSL, TV, and now wireless) on the same bill, same bottom line monthly charge, and with discounts. This has proven to be an awesome customer retention technique for qwest and gives Sprint added revenue.
