Review: LG Rumor

😕 i HAVE A RUMOR AND I WAS WONDERING WHAT PRE PAID SERVICE IS COMPATIBLE W/ THE RUMOR LG?

I work at a used phone reseller, and for Sprint and Verizon phones, we have our own accounts to activate and verify that they are clear to activate for our customers. I have activated an LG Rumor and, for some reason, I can't program our number in. I tried putting in the ##??????# and it doesn't do anything except ask me if I want to dial or save the number. Does anyone know how to actually get the number programmed in? I appreciate any help.

😢 Hello, I just got a new Scoop like 2 months ago and today, 2 other people were texting me and I wasn't recieveing anything. So I shut my phone off and turned it back on and it went to the loading screen and when the bar filled all the way up it vibrates and it keeps on doing it over and over and over. It wont let me on my phone. I tryed plugging it in to the wall charger it did the same thing, I took out my battery many of times and still nothing, It keeps on doing it. Can someone please help me!? 😕

Ok this might be a dah question but I wanted to know if I need to buy a miniSD card for my new LG Scoop or can I put/download songs from my computer onto the phone without getting a card? Oh I also wanted to know how many songs will the phone hold?

I can send MP3 files to my phone via bluetooth or usb cable, they work fine... I can send a couple without adding my MicroSD chip also. Well how do I set them as a ringtone, do they need to be in a special format? Anyone know, I have goldwave so I can convert them anyway I like. Thanks for the help.

Ok just got this phone and am wondering if there is any way other than to just send a bunch of messages to clear out a number from the recently sent messages menu after I sent a text message out. I can delete the message but when I go to send a new message it has a menu of the numbers/contacts that i sent my last messages to. Can a certain number be removed from this list or is there a way to disable this feature entirely? Thanks in advance for your help.

Does this phone have telenav or any kind of navigation?

Okay, I'm not a techno wizard or anything and I just got this phone as a christmas gift so I'm still learning how to use it now, so what exactly is Firmware, what does it do and do I need to update it? My phone gives me this option, but I was just wondering what that means. Can anyone help? 😕

My brad-new LG Rumor 260 phone doesn't work. Everytime I wanna go on the internet, or even my account, it writes me this : '' Sorry, we are unable to provision your handset at this moment. Try again later or call de customer care for assistance.'' It sucks...really! 😡
I called the customer care ( Something like that...Sorry for my english by the way... I speak french 😉 but I didn't find any forum in french to explain my problem so... )
Ok Like I said, I called the customer care today, but it has changed absolutely nothing.
I have bought this phone one week ago, and all I can do it's texting! ( Boring after a week )
So...have you already had this problem before ?

ok i just got my new account with alltel from at&t two days ago. me and my mom both got lg scoops. i had a memory card for my old phone so i was hoping it would work. it says at the top it reads it but when i go to my pictures theyre not there cuz thats all i had on the card. is there somewhere else i need to go to find my pics or does the card just not work?

I just got my Rumor and to use it it says I need to 'press and hold BACK to unlock or lock', is there a way to turn that off so I can just push menu or talk or something to start to use it? Thanks!

My rumor beeps about every 2 minutes. Already deleted all text messages. Have plenty of memory.

Hi everybody! Can anyone verify for me whether or not the LG Rumor has a countdown timer? You know, where you can put in a date, like your birthday, and it will keep track of how many days remain. Some places say it does, some say it doesn't.

Ok, So I have a Lg Scoop, I would like make ringtones and then upload them onto my phone. Would also like to upload wallpaper and then download my photos off my phone onto my computer. How do I do it? What software can I use to do it? Please Help me!!!!

Every time I try to use bluetooth, it will not let me save it to my audio. I can hear it from the bluetooth, but that is it. What am I don't wrong? I called the service department and they told me the phone will not let me use ring tones, I'm sure that is a bunch of bull. So I guess my question is how do I save music/ring tones to my audio to use as ring tones? Thank you!!

Help! Whenever I sign into messenger, I get the im's but only if I look at my phone constantly. Isnt there a way to turn the volume up on IM's so I know when something has come in?

My old phone would vibrate until I read the text message. But on the Rumor it seems to vibrate once and that is it is there a setting I don't see?
