Have we lost it?!

Why do we need to watch a full length movie on our cell phones!? This is nuts! 1) How can you even enjoy a movie on that tiny screen? 2) Do we really have the time to watch movies on our cells? I mean if we're at home, we can watch it on a telvision.

I just think that cell phone are starting to get a little out of hand.
Who says you "need" to? You don't even "need" a phone, let alone a camera, calendar, alarm clock, or texting. Let's be real, it's all for fun these days, and to counter your point, if you have a movie on your phone it is more then likely it's one you ...

I watch vids and movies on my cell phone. I rather like this feature.
It's a pretty cool feature, yet I do agree, full length movies is moving into the excess, and yes I would like to see cellular companies regress, you know back to a time to where putting up towers and increasing coverage was a company's primary goal. ...

Sprint is so far ahead

To bad the network isn't ahead. Sprint still the leader in dropped calls. 😲
Big deal. Anyone who pays for this stuff is retarded. If you want to watch a movie go buy it for $15 and save you eyes the trouble.

All movies are edited to TV-14 standards?

Well, hell, if I'm shelling out $4 to $6 bucks per title...I want my blood and guts.

And, hey, sex ain't bad, either.
🤣 I never thought about that, good point

That is not true. Looking thruough the list there are alot of "R" rated films. "How High" is one of them. The app is not part of the media player, you actually have to download the app, free, then you can purchase movies thru it.

this is actually kinda cool

The Sprint Movies Application can be downloaded as an application through power vision.

I am currently at my radioshack watching billy madison on an LG Fusic side by side with Meet The Parents on a samsung 920.

The quality isnt bad at all. Its a cell phone, its obviously not gonna be perfect. But you dont have to squint your eyes or anything stupid like you are all imagining. Im like 10 minutes in on both movies and neither have paused yet to continue buffering..I dont imagine the buffering interupptions will be to much to handle.

The quality maybe just a small step above sprinttv. There are occasional distorted pictures but it fixes itself pretty quickly.

I wouldnt advise throwing down 5 bucks a movie on a regular basis but ...

for all you billy madison fans, i jsut got to the scene in miss lippys class after she read the puppy who lost its way

I'm reserving judgement

I think it's really cool that they are exploring this, but what I want to know is how long does it take to download these movies? Or are they being streamed??

And they are being edited, and they cost the same as a regular DVD rental from Blockbuster. 😕

Thank, I'll pass for now. I'd rather just rip my own DVDs and then upload to my TF card.

😁 I love my Moto A1200 *333
I'll judge right now - this is a dumb idea. 🙄

Who wants to watch movies on their phone? I suspect it will be one of two categories of people:

1. People who do it for the novelty: "DUDE! CheckitoutIcantotallywatchthismovie - ON MY PHONE!"...

cool...but?

This is pretty cool, but I think Sprint should probably be investing that money elswhere, say in improving there coverage and mass marketing to help their pathetic subscriber growth from last Q.

PPV?

I don't know about you, but when I do a PPV or On Demand Movie, I don't want the Wal-mart version of a movie. If I wanted to watch the washed version I select any channel available with basic cable.

Scarface TV-14
Cop:"How did you get that scar, eating pineapple?"
Tony:"You think I can get this scar by eating pineapple?" Way to ruin the classics.

Too bad my a900's battery life wouldn't last though a whole movie...

.... and many other Power Vision phones have crappy battery life.
🤣
This would be a problem for me with my a900, as I can not go a full day with normal usage, or even just listening to the music store for a little bit.
