Vital's Moto Mod Takes A Complete Health Picture

My daughter has some pretty serious medical problems and having this anywhere would be a god send. Any word on if for some reason it would need a data connection to work? Thinking about just buying a z and this mod simply for that and not a phone.

This looks to be a very useful personal health moto mod. I guess someone could make something similar with bluetooth or USB but having it as one device is elegant and could be very useful in certain setups.

It also should help keep older moto Z phones still relevant and retain their value.
