Why is this even a thing that phone makers are working on? Are they so blatantly out of useful ideas that they must invent gimmicky stuff like folding phones in order to create the illusion of progress, of genuine innovation?
Here's an idea Samsung. Here's what I want.
I want you to eliminate the phone case as a viable accessory. I want a phone that's as elegant and as stylish (and just as functional) as my S9, but that can survive case-protected-height drops onto tile or concrete without shattering. I want to be able to see and feel the beautiful thing that you created without the need to encase it in some slimy TPS prophylactic that completely contradicts your design principles.
