Mac compatability / iSync compatible/hackable?
Anyone have news as to whether or not this will be able to sync with a Mac? I am mainly interested in contacts and calendar (for reference only). If music is easy to sync that would be an added bonus.
Well I went ahead and purchased this phone and here is what I have found. I can't get iSync to accept the phone so far so โน๏ธ on that so far.
I can pair the phone with my Mac and use the Bluetooth File Transfer utility to do the following:
I ca...

PC suite comaptible?
This phone, actually none of the VZW Nokia phones are listed as compatible with PC suite on the Nokia web site. Does anyone know if any of the VZW Nokia phones are compatible?

predictive text dictionary
so...no one knows a thing about the predictive text dictionary. not verizon, not nokia, not the local verizon store. does anyone know if you can add words to the predictive text dictionary? it is basically a deal breaker if you cant. never knew how much it sucked to be stuck with only stock text options....you have to go to symbols and choose the colon and parenthesis to make ๐ or gunna is made "gunman"...not convenient at all.
I have been on Nokia's forum and there are a few others that have experienced this problem (myself included). I made a call to nokia and talked to a generic employee with no technical knowledge. He said that right now that feature is not available. He...

It's only $129.99 after a $50 mail in rebate... Sound like you were at an authorized agent not a corporate location... ๐

problem accepting pictures by Bluetooth
I was able to transfer my contacts from my old phone by Bluetooth without a problem, but I having problems getting pictures from another phone being sent by Bluetooth. When I send the picture from by BlackBerry the Nokia says that it is retreiving the file and it says that it was successfully retrieved - but the picture is not in my pictures or anywhere else that I have looked in the phone. Does anyone have any ideas either why it isn't working, or if the picture is in some strange place. At the moment I don't have a memory card in the phone if that helps.
thanks,
Brian
I found that the Bluetooth "inbox" was turned off. I didn't even realize that there was a Bluetooth inbox but once I found it and turned it on it worked fine.

Info Needed
To the people who own this phone, it's definitely a fingerprint magnet, right? I have heard that Nokia wasn't that great on the Verizon network, but this phone from all of you seems to be great! Is the keypad brightly lit? And what color is the keypad when it is lit up? I am reading call quality and sound are great, loud ringers, etc. The only thing that would bug me is that it sounds like a smudge magnet. The keys look pretty small or close together, is this accurate? I own the LG VX 8360 and love it! Anyway, any info would be greatly appreciated. The keypad looks similar to the Moto W 755, am I right? Thanks to anyone who replies. ๐
Funny you ask. I have the same two phones. I am pretty sure I am returning the Nokia because of a couple of reasons. Honest guy here too.
The LG 8360 is not as much as a looker. But, it is amazingly user friendly and easier to navigate and its qu...

Panrtech? Nokia?
Is this another phone made by Pantech for Nokia? Pantech made a phone for Nokia in the past. All Nokias, despite carrier have signal strength and battery charge indicator that display vertically, and not like all other VZW phones.

No show of the ext display functions?
Why wasn't the features of the ext display not shown?
Looking good & speedy
That's a handsome phone, and it looks like it runs the VZW ui pretty fast, too. Though my last experience with a VZW feature phone was the Dare, and it felt a bit sluggish comparatively.
How's the music player, btw?
...how many megapixels is the camera? ๐คจ
