What's up with the memory support?

Why can't they all support 8GB? Some support 2GB, another 4GB, and another 8GB. Why can't they just support the same spec? I assume the hardware to support any of these specs is comparable in size and cost. The devices run the same OS. So why can't it be standardized?
Well, 4GB or above is all SDHC (SD High Capacity) and doesn't run the standard SD specs. So you would have to program the OS and the phone to run both regular SD and SDHC, thus driving up costs. As to why a 4GB phone doesn't support up to 8GB, I have ...

Is Nokia creating anymore cdma phones???? metroPCS came out with a new program called metroFLASH and if Nokia makes a cdma phone i will surely buy it from them and FLASH it with metroPCS

I thought a line of handsets with the name "Supernova" would be very advanced. . .

But it doesn't appear as though this is the case. These handsets have oh right features, I just thought something called "Supernova" would be far more advanced.
I'd assume they are probably thinking on the terms of the magnificant colors of a supernova.
