MS Exchange
Before I go and buy this phone I must know. Does anyone use this phone with Exchange Server? Does this phone work as well as any Windows phone with Exchange and MS outlook?
Sorry the late response, yes you can log onto ms outlook you just can't sync it to your phone. I tried and I couldn't but you can use the regular web to do so. Works for my work email.

Ringtones?
Can anyone recommend a good site where I can download ringtones for my phone? I want like actual music, not the prerecorded ones that automatically come with the phone.
Thanks!! 😁

What's with the battery life on the MT3G?
My GF just got this phone and with light usage the battery drains down quick. Even when the phone is in stand by mode, I downloaded the app killer form the market and changed some other settings and she still needs to charge the phone twice a day, I know it runs a lot of apps and stuff and I've adjusted the settings and still....... anyone know of any other apps I can downloaded to help improve battery life?
Thanks
set screen brightness to 40%
turn off GPS Bluetooth and wifi when not in use
there are many free power management app out there.
remember this is a computer as well powerfull as well soo....feed the dragon

Live Wallpapers??
does anyone know how to get the live wallpapers working on this device?
They won't. HTC decided that the processor can't handle them, plus they didn't want the battery life to be affected, so Live wallpapers are not allowed. not ones from the market or 3rd party APK's.

MyTouch 3G Slide on AT&T
Anyone know if the MyTouch Slide 3G would get the 3G signal from AT&T? I know you can unlock one and use it on the AT&T network, however I'm not sure on the 3G capability..
Thanks
No, it wouldn't work. the 3G bands are different for ATT And Tmobile. you could get EDGE coverage and be able to make/receive calls/SMS, but no 3G. Just go to Tmobile. lol 😁

FaceBook Contact Names
I linked mine and it will not allow me to use my phone contact name, it keeps changing over to the Facebook name. Does anyone know how to stop that?

Facebook Sync
i linked up most of my contacts to their facebook but when they change their facebook picture only some have changed on the phone. i even changed mine and they have it as the same. is there a way i can have the phone update them all the time itself?
It'll change automatically with time. If it doesn't then go into that contact, and when you edit the contact, you can choose the source of the picture again, that might update it.

Search Contacts? Primary Number?
So, I am an at least a 8-10 year Blackberry user and wanted to get with the "cool kids" and try out the latest and greatest. I really like the phone, except for two BIG issues:
1) There is NO way to search the contacts, unless you pull out the keyboard to type like a blackberry or an iPhone search. Am I missing something? Why can't you just tap contacts and then search from that screen? Just like most of you, I have thousands of contacts and scrolling isn't an option.
2) I can go to the phone and use the keypad to search. AWESOME feature. However, for some reach, each contact HAS to have a primary number. So, when I find my contact, if their mobile is the primary and I want to call their work, I am out of luck. I can only call t...

You can search for an alternate phonebook/contact app in the android market(app store). Most of them are free and pretty good.

100 mb memory?
I'm looking at T-Mobile's intranet and the memory is a lot higher than that, 512 MB to be exact!
As rich pointed out along with checking it out live. The phone has limited memory. Odd

Cross Between...
this phone looks like a cross between zune and a blackberry. not impressed.
Me too.
Was just expecting 'more'.
I mean, it doesn't seem like a bad phone, but T-mobile has a reputation of pushing the envelope with their branded handset, and just doesn't feel like a step forward.
I have had a chance to play with this phone and I like it a lot. I have a DROID myself and my friend got this phone yesterday when it came out to replace his G1 (which I rooted to 2.1). The phone has the same processor as the MOTO DROID, the only thin...

Keyboard BLOWS
I have the G1 and was thinking about going to the myTouch Slide, but once I saw that keyboard... FORGET IT! I stick to my trusty G1
I love the keyboard on my HTC touch pro 2 and it is way better than this, but I'll miss it when EVO is out.
You should at least try it before you knock it. It works really well.
Its going to be hard to top the 5-6 row G1 keyboard. I did like it better. I don't agree with it "BLOWING", but thats all based on opinion at that point. I will agree with Eric about getting the "o9" and the "P0" mixed up, it happens to me when I use ...

Bogus review
I stopped reading this review after the first page. What kind of crap is this? The words you use to describe the phone are enough to keep anyone from gaining any interest in it whatsoever. I've had some first had experience and I can honestly say its no Nexus but its not as bad as PS cracks it up to be. It's not even accurate for crying out loud! 🤣 There is no search button on the front of the phone, its called the Genius button and its actually pretty useful. Most of the problems they whined about sound like they just dont know how to handle the phone I mean cmon phonescoop stop writing this garbage, take your bias opionions elsewhere and just give us a review of the phone seriously 🙄

Almost got all of the extras in there, Eric!
Couple of things that I noticed, or didn't notice in your review was, "Dragon Dictation", HTC Adobe Flash player, and pinch-to-zoom. "Dragon Dictation" is a voice recognition software that a lot of doctors use in the medical field.
I think everyone knows about Adobe's Flash software on web pages by now. I had the pleasure of using this phone for a couple of weeks now and the built in Flash player is AWESOME!!! I was also able to interact with an entire Flash site. For example, if you want to interact with a button in the Flash player, you can! 🙂 It was actually pretty smooth as well 🙂
Also, pinch-to-zoom is pretty much on everything! E-mails, Web pages, pictures, Google Maps with Voice navigation, just about anything you wanted to zoo...

Specs?
What kind of specs does this phone have, Im at work so can not access some sites this is one of them I am allowed to be on. Wanted to see how fast it is and the quality of the screen.
The phone has an ARM-11 600MHZ processor. Pretty fast. This is the fastest GSM Android phone I have had besides the Nexus One.
