Form over Function?
This is a really dumb idea to me. What is the point of having a little ticker screen when you already have that nice big old screen at the top? Seems like a waste of space to me.
From what I've read, if you tap the sides, you get the bottom to light up, giving you a quick view of what's going on without turning on your main screen. This could REALLY help battery life
It allows you to see a text message with out having to open the text screen. So if you are in middle of another app. I love that feature on my Fascinate.
Samsung Continuum => LAMEO
Is that a water ski?? Oh, its just a phone. Seriously the Samsung Continuum has got to be one of the ugliest phones ever. Also the "ticker" idea is ridiculous. Are you happy to see me, oh its just your phone. lolz
