Keep your paper bills people, don't buy into this false "Green" Movement. If you have zero use for a paper bill then setup paperless billing, otherwise keep it.

Done. I gave up my paper bills...
AT&T no longer sends me a paper bill, I got my last paper bill in the mail this week. I gave up paper billing...along with AT&T, so they will never send me another bill again!
And yes, for the record, I DID set up paperless billing with my new carrier.

Paper Myth
Most of the paper we use today comes from trees specifically planted to create paper. The environmental impact of "saving" trees is somewhat irrelevant they way they make it seem.

Green... but not enough
So I had AT&T U-Verse up until Monday. They asked me to return my equipment to any UPS Store. So I did... and they told me to throw away the remote and power cords. Its cheaper to make new ones than it is to pay to ship them back.
Seems like there's some more work these companies can get done on the green front than just paperless billing.

They also have a lot of work to do with shipping merchandise and equipment. They ship their SIM cards in separate boxes. So a box that could hold probably 2000 sim cards instead ships 10-40 depending on that weeks order. Why not just ship them in the ...

If it really does cost more to ship remotes and power cords back to the warehouse than it does to make new ones, then you probably aren't going to reduce waste by loading up trucks with as much used crap as possible.

T-Mobile tried this last year and was hit with much opposition and then dropped the practice. How is this different?
T-mobile decided to charge all customers who signed up for the E-bill option, the customers outraged about the fee and it was quickly removed. This is different because AT&T isn't charging anyone.

I got alot of emails over the past 6 months from at&t, that if I switched to paperless and setup auto pay with a mastercard then they would give me a $20 credit.
