if i have bad coverage inside my house, i going to switch provider! and not paying a extra 20$ a month!
that' what my brother did, he got bad coverage inside his house on ATT, so he switched to Verizon and everything is fine!

I switched carriers as well. Not only does the AT&T coverage suck in my area, but I constantly got static everytime I made a call.
Why pay AT&T more money? If you are having coverage issues, ditch them for another carrier.

This is not true in all markets. In many areas Verizon coverage is rather limited and AT&T is the coverage king.
The benefit of the Micro Cell is if you have a building with a lot of metal in its construction which is not RF friendly.

Why so late?
I think pigs have learned to fly by now. They released this, what over a year ago? They're just now releasing it nationwide? Took them long enough! I'm not hating, I'm glad they have one and a 3G one at that, just saying why did they take so long to release? Sprint, Verizon, even T-Mobile have made femtocell options for customers. (T-Mobile using WiFi).
Well at least customers can finally get 3G coverage and have better connection, well pretty much everywhere. It'll take some of the strain off the towers that the iPhone has obviously caused. 😛

I hear you. I have been watching and waiting since early last year when it was first announced. AT&T said it would be rolled out in Oct 09... but that came and went. I'll be one of the first to order one and hopefully it solves the problem of poor ...

is the $20 a month mandatory?
do you have to purchase $20 a month plan? What if you don't want unlimited calls/data and just want to increase signal in your home? can you purchase the microcell w/o the plan?
From what I understand that's just an option you can sign up for not a mandatory fee...if you decide against it you just use minutes from your existing plan.
