Google May Bring Turn-By-Turn Directions to 'Other Platforms'
Hey Menno... did you get the E-Mail too??
"Hey Just so you know, I work for Telenav. I'm not trying to fight w/you.
I do have to say that Mangobeach is correct about Telenav. Some of the info about Google is correct also. Some of the info has been since corrected Google.
I can set you up with a free demo accout if you would like to try our service. I'm sure you will agree that Telenav is worth the Money.
Send me an email at demorequest@telenav.com
make sure that you send this from your T-mo work address.
Put your user name in the email so I will know who you are."

Anyway, enjoy!
I wouldn't respond to ANYTHING asking for work information online btw.. and I'm pretty sure that email was from mangobeach

I was hoping Google would release it for the iPhone, but hey, you can't win em' all.
I'll just have to enjoy Google layers when my girlfriend is traveling with me. Navigon suits me well for the time being.
Questions Arise Over Google's Plans to Bring Free Turn-By-Turn GPS Navigation to iPhone
According to PCWorld, however, Google has backpedaled on those claims and in fact seems to be distancing itself from the possibility of bringing the service to the iPhone.
"We did not say we would bring it to iPhone, we said to date we've had it on Android and that in the future it may come to other platforms but did not confirm this will be coming to iPhone at all," a Google spokesperson told PCWorld.
