Agreed. That "similar to the iphone" blurb was the most unnecessary/stupid part of the description. I suppose my old Motorola Startac is similar to the iphone as well, since they can both make phone calls.

People mention the iphone because its an easy frame of reference. You have to remember, some of these articles are written for people that arent techies. The iphone gives people an easy comparrison point.

Iphone is like "kleenex" or "qtip" they're the names that people place with the product type, even if they only describe one brand.

🤤 This sounds like a dream come true for me! I love my blackberry and I cannot imagine functioning without it as far as business goes. My only gripe with RIM is that they have the lamest browser in the wireless universe, it's worse with 5.0 on my Tour. I'm wondering how this being based on Apple's Webkit will make the end user experience like. I hope it's better looking than the prototypes on Crackberry.......
You can always change your default browser on your blackberry to either internet explorer or Firefox. You do have that option available. Do u know how to find it and change it???????
