HTC Intends to file additional claims
Not to be outdone, HTC is reviewing its patent portfolio so they can hit Apple back with the following:
Patent #1301- Ability for Microphone to randomly crap out
Patent #5125- Ability for phone to freeze and require hard reset while using Bluetooth DUN, or adjusting Bluetooth settings. (This is HTC's power management system.... hard resets save energy for the time the battery is removed
Patent #221- Ability for the phone to display the error "USB device not found" when trying to place a call. (Privacy feature)
