A Facebook phone would be nothing more than a vehicle for directed advertising. I ran an add for PhoneCan early this month, and many people might be surprised to learn how you can fine-tune the demographics of your add. A FB-branded mobile device would be all about extending these demographics, with the added "bonus" of everybody and their mother typing "WTF" and clicking "LIKE."

If the Social Network wins an Oscar I'm going to kill myself. I never saw the movie but the previews made it sound like facebook was the most "important" invention in the history of man.
The movie is about the lawsuits filed against Mark Zuckerberg, one by his former partner and the other by his rivals alleging they stole his idea.
