3D pictures why can't send to other 3d devices
I was wondering why we can't send 3d pictures we take to other 3d devices. Thought it was an option to do this? But when I send it, it converts to 2d automatically?? Even when I know the other person I'm sending the photo to has a 3D evo also.

3D backgrounds
Does anyone know where I can download cool 3D backgrounds? Like where we as users submit them? The market doesn't have much yet.

Batter life??
I've had it since the release date, I've turned off background notifications and all auto sync, yet I still only get about 5-6 hours... The phonescoop review said they got about 13 hours... How??? I even have juicedefender ultimate still no luck... anybody have any suggestions??????
I actually leave everything on (including WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, All my notifications), and with moderate-heavy usage, I get about 12 hours of battery life.
Did you try and calibrate your battery? I didn't do so, but it might help.

First Weekend Sales??
Has anyone seen the sales numbers for this weekend? Did sales live up to the hype?
I haven't seen any actual sales numbers, though my store recieved 10 units, 5 of which were preorders reserved for customers. We still have 3 unsold units left. It is not for any lack of advertising, but it might have something to do with the huge pri...

wheres the hdmi output?
I've seen video footage of this phone and in none of them have I seen a kickstand OR an hdmi output!
Phonescoop has listed TV output as HDMI
HTC has somehow managed to make it possible to connect HDMI and micro USB through the same port. Whats more the phone apparently can charge through HDMI as well as USB and HDMI output mirrors what is on the phones display instead of just working when ...

You have to to either...
1- Buy an MHL compatible cable where one is micro-USB and the other end is HDMI.
2- Buy an MHL adaptor that has HDMI, and a micro-USB port as well.
I don't think there are many cables even out yet in the US, but Spri...

This Phone
Is amazingly fast I have a store demo of it, the 3D is rather lackluster but if that was the selling point for you on this phone then you shouldn't get it.
I don't think anyone is buying this phone for the 3D its just and added bonus.

Evo 3d
i've had it for 3 days now and my icons keep re-seting. took about a day to get the google voice working properly. Not thrilled about the 3d but didn't buy it for that feature. It is faster.
I didn't buy it for the 3D either, but I absolutely love that feature.
It's entertaining showing the 3D to other people, and to actually take 3D pics as well. Once I realize I'm in a 3D surrounding where it might show up well on my phone, I'll go a...

HDMI OUT MIRRORING
Does this fully mirror everything done on the phone via HDMI out? I'd love to watch Netflix...
If not natively, I'm sure one of the already existing apps for the Evo4g that does the same thing will be modified pretty quickly for it.
There is not a hdmi out on the phone. I was surprised that's the case but it is what it is.

A screencolor question...
I just purchased my EVO 3D on opening day. I love this phone as i've purchased the Hero & 4G and enjoyed my experience on those models. My question is, does anyone notice a difference in their screencolor being an off-white color? The reason I'm saying this is because i chose to keep my Hero & 4G phones and compared the screencolor to my 3D. Both my Hero & 4G have a crisp sharp white color whereas my 3D screencolor is an off-white. I'm bringing my unit to the store to compare with their display model and other employee models to see if it's just my model. If there's no difference on the other models, I'll at least know it wasn't a flaw with mine. But i was wondering if anyone else had their previous models to compare with their 3D? Btw, my d...

I don't own the phone yet, but If I had to guess.. I would put my money on your off-white color screen having something to do with the 3D feature of the phone. Good Luck!

This phone
Is hot. I don't even care about the 3D (because it made me nauseous). I enjoyed the speed and snappiness of the processor, the display, and the feel. I am actually impressed.

pretty sure the EVO 3D is the phone of the year
Seriously, there is not a phone on the market that outclasses this beast's RAM/ROM/PROCESSOR and it's super high-resolution screen. The whole 3d aspect is just a well-executed throw in that increases the value and it STAYS at a sober price point. Kudos to Sprint for staying away from Verizon's playbook with overpriced upgrades.

EVO 3D vs Motorola Atrix 4G?
It looks like the two 540 x 960 pixel contenders on Sprint will be the EVO 3D and the Motorola Atrix 4G. Any opinions on the two options? Neither the 3D feature of the HTC nor the docking feature of the Motorla are relevant to me.
Evo 3d wins hands down. I am not a fan of Motorola's smart phones. There are already several issues with the Atrix. I am not saying the Evo 3d won't potentially have some issues at release, but if its anything like the launch of the Evo 4g the problem...

Thats not the case because the motorola atrix is an AT&T exclusive so it wont be coming to sprint if sprint is your only option of phone carrier and you want those specific dimensions then you will have to go with the EVO 3D if your willing to go to A...

EVO 3D Vs Nexus S 4G
Which do you think is better? Will HTC fix the horrible battery issue with the current EVO? I have the current EVO and really really like the 3D from what I have seen so far. But I love the Amole screen on the Nexus S, but dont know which one to get.
The 3D will have a 1750 mAmp battery compared to the 1500 that the first EVO came with. With that be enough to handle the larger processor and the 3D feature?
Comments or statements on what phone you would get?
Horrible battery issues? People put horrible settings/apps on their phones that led to battery issues so that's a different issue altogether. A typical day on my Evo gets me 12-16 hours on a single charge. That's not bad considering the phone is more...

Premier customer update cancels out upgrade
Is there anyway to get this new phone when it comes out. I am due for a upgrade now on my HTC Hero, but as of April 1st, I loose my upgrade status for anyother year. For people that got the Evo 4g last June, that means they won't qualify for a new phone until June of 2012. What is the best way to get a new phone when the upgrade is not available to you, without having to pay $700.00 for the phone. Any ideas appreciated.
Hey bud.
Call in right now and change your plan to the everything data share 3000 or the everything data 900 plan. This will keep your upgrade status past april, then after you do your upgrade you can go back to the old set up.
It's a little pri...

I just confirmed the upgrades will be 22 months from last upgrade. Generally around the one year mark from your last upgrade you qualify for a 75.00 upgrade. The 75.00 upgrade isnt too much savings however, its 75.00 off the full retail price. You get...

i don't know if you have noticed but the evo at retail from a sprint store is only $449.99 and not $600+. Just fyi. There are ways to keep your yearly upgrades with sprint. just call and ask.
I received the same letter explaining that but I believe it took effect starting in April. If your phone was ready for an upgrade in March it may still be there. I may be wrong but it doesn't hurt to look into that 😁

Disabling HTC Sense UI
I have been waiting for Sprint to get a 540 x 960 pixel phone. This one seems like a good candidate, but I hate the HTC Sense UI. It's especially pointless on an Android phone. How easy is it to disable Sense UI on an HTC Android phone and do you lose anything by doing so, other than a fricken huge clock that takes up way too much real estate?
Sense is the bomb, the clock is a widget, just remove it. Sense is way better than touch wiz and motorolas deal..lol
It's mostly just widgets, which are easy enough to delete from your home screen. There are a few other tweaks, but I can't imagine them getting in the way for anyone. What do you not like about it?
Sense is just an overlay and all of the widgets can be deleted and make the phone look very similar to stock android. This phone will be very popular and you will more than likely be able to run a version of Cyanogen Mod custom rom when that becomes a...

to disable HTC Sense just download an app called LauncherPro it'll make the phone AOSP (Sense-less) but Idk how well the 3D will work with it...
i hate sence too. stock android is much better and faster than having all those extra programs running.
root your phone and flash clockwork mod recovery to it. then download a custom rom that dose not have sence added to it. there you go and you al...

You can do it easily. But I am not going to tell you because Sense is the reason I have an Evo and love it! Good luck on your journey.
BTW if you don't like sense don't get a phone that runs on it. All the other phones have bland UI's.
