What's the point?

What's the point? If their acquisition by AT&T goes through, AT&T will just shut it down next year. What a waste. I really do feel for all the T-Mobile customers who will likely get dumped onto AT&T's s-l-o-w 3G network.
Well, they still need to retain customers and gain new ones. The T-Mobile ads bashing at&t are still airing too. There is always a slight chance that the deal might not be approved. I wouldn't count on that but they are still competitors until everyth...

They are counting on cashing the 3 billion check from att when the deal doesn't get approved and laughing all the way to the bank. But you're right, att will only screw it up.

well if the at&t merger goes thru they will also get t mobiles technology so the 4g networks would stay the same

That's why I left ATT, LACK of ambition! I waited all the way til March of 2010.
Someone correct me if I am wrong, but aren't T-Mobile's HSPA+ network and AT&T's HSPA networks both clocked to 7.2 mbits/second?

Markets does TMobile have?
Currently they have 167 Markets.

I would never have guessed that T-Mobile would have much coverage in these places.
It seems to me like Tmo has quite a bit bigger network than most on Phone Scoop thought.
