Vodafone would never sell their 45% ownershipe of Verizon Wireless to buy a non-profitable carrier they would have to sink money into and rename. VzW is free money for Vodafone who has been trying to buy out VzW for years.

Do a little research and give us one example of a situation like this one where the FCC blocked the sale of one smaller co. to a much larger one. There are stipulations that have to be met.... But never a complete block.
