I tried this phone out in the store today, and I can honestly say this is the cheapest built phone I have ever seen. I don't know how they can get away with calling it "durable". It's quite ugly as well. I'm not sure what the heck pantec was thinking when they approved this design.
Whoever told you this phone was durable is a complete re-re. This phone is in no way durable, and of course it is cheap crap. It's $11.99 upgrade price at it's highest. If you want a nice smartphone that will run fast, you are of course going to have ...

QWERTY Android
Currently holding onto my Motorola Backflip until someone realizes people actually like QWERTY keyboard on their smartphones.
Granted, the crossover is an upgrade to something like my phone. But, I want something powerful like an Atrix or an Infuse with a fully tactile QWERTY.
Blackberry did a pretty good job with the Torch. But, I want a QWERTY that is made for viewing the internet letterbox style.
I'll give you industrial designers a hint, make it just like the LG Quantum, but with a screen the size of the Infuse or Inspire.
Granted, the crossover is an upgrade to something like my phone. But, I want something powerful like an Atrix or an Infuse with a fully tactile QWERTY.

I agree, though. I think there needs to be more android devices with a physical QWERTY keyboard.
If you can save some extra cash I reccomend the MotoFlipside. Android 2.1 with qwerty keyboard. Not a bad device.

Qwerty Android
Even though this is an entry level andoid phone and it's not even as good as a Motorola Bravo, I like the direction.
Personally, I'm not a fan of having to touch a screen a lot. It kind of freaks me out, and I'm always cleaning it! I currently have a Motorola Backflip, and I'm holding out until someone makes an Infuse or Atrix level phone with QWERTY. (When I was a technical illustrator, I kept Windex by my monitor.)
So I will again state it here for those of you listening. For the love of God, please make a powerful Android phone with a slide out QWERTY!
