Review: LG Chocolate

my microsd card wont work can someone help me

I am currently seeking an lg chocolate on ebay but cannot find the brown color that I "thought" it originally came out in. Does anyone know for sure if it did ,in fact, come in this color? Thanks!

So my GF got in a fight with her sis and her sis grabbed the phone and threw it, in the process ripping the charger out (it was plugged in at the time). She found the male connecter embedded into the phone's charger port, and after getting that out she cannot get the phone to charge anymore (leading us to the assumption that somehow the pins or something were damaged). Is there a way to fix this? The only "solution" I can come up with is to buy one of those battery cradles and a spare battery and just swap between batteries from now on. FWIW, the VzW store told her that they don't repair out of production phones.

I have figured out how to record conversations while I am on the phone, but I can't figure out where to find the recording after. I'm sure I am missing something. Anyone have advice?? Thanks!

I need some help with setting up custome ringtones, first of all, am not sure whether the phone required SMFF or MFF file. But either way when i save it on my SD card, how could i able to make the phone recongize it???

I just recently suffered some water damage to my chocolate. A couple other people I know of who got water damage to theirs didn't have this problem, but now whenever i turn it on "verizon wireless" displays on the screen, as if its starting up, but then it goes black and repeats itself...over and over and over again. Is there anything i can do? I'd like to at least salvage my contacts and videos off of it...

i hate to go this low but i am considering all possible options- anybody have one they are willing to give/sell? i have a motorola krzr k1m that i absolutely hate and are willing to exchange... anybody?

UGH. i bought the package thing for the chocolate. it's a VX855 and the cable wont connect to the computer. it did the first time, but that was it. tech support couldn't do anything. i hear it may be the cable. any comments on that?

well since i have the adapter, i figured i would just put music on it through that, but it's not the right format. does anyone know what it has to be? i dont know if that's the answer, but if there's some other way that you have to do it, please let me know. 😳

So I bought one of these Sandisc micro chips that go into the right side of the Chocolate phone because I was getting tired of having to delete my text message box every 5 minutes since it only holds 50 messages. I was told that by doing this it would make it so I didn't have to do that, but I put the card in and it still makes me delete my inbox after 50 messages. is there some special thing I have to do to make my text messages save to this chip instead of my phone's memory? can someone please help me out here?

i just got my lg chocolate...i don't really like the wallpapers verizon has to offer, but everytime i try to download a file i can't save it...maybe i'm doing this wrong? i'm hoping someone can point me in the right direction...

someone please help!!!, my first chocolate was fine, till it went blank on me, so when i got my new one from warranty, the pictures dont fit!, theres these two white bars (one on top and one on bottom) ive tried setting it to diff. resolution, i though that might help, but no.... does anyone know why its doing that?? any help will be greatly appreciated!

I was wondering does anybody know *everything* about the chocolate?

ok i have a white chocolate,
and today it was just in my pocket and when i looked at it to see the time it was trying to turn on.
it would show the verizon screen then go black,then go back to the verizon screen and it would keep repeating itself.

anyone have this happen to them or no how to fix it?

Hi, I just bought an lg chocolate 8500 and im using pay and talk..well when i go to wireless web it tries to connect then saiys connection failed..does anyone know how to fix that??also, i understand that i have voice mail and all them goodies with pay and talk and i cannot setup my voice mail. when i dial 1 then my number it says my call cannot be completed as dialed...also, the number it calls is not my number that i received from telus, its completely different...does anyone know how to fix any of these problems or do i have to call *611? Thanks.

Within the past 6 months on multiple occasions I will get a call and only the vibrate will work (have phone setup for ring & vibrate). When I answer I get nothing, but the caller can hear me just fine. Then if I try calling them back the pressing of keys are silent.

Has anyone heard of or had this issue?

is there anyway to connect normal headphones? I cant stand these flimsy earbud ones. Thanx 🙂

😈 Is it true there is no speakerphone
included with this phone? I would never buy a phone without one. With all the bells and whistles on this phone, they will probable lose some sales because of the lack of the speakerphone.

I've had this phone for 4 months now, and I cant wait to get rid of it. I love it but I know it will break, they all will (probably the touch pad).

Anyway, sometimes the battery shows a charge of, say, 3 bars. I listen to music for maybe an hour or two at work, then turn off the music player with 1 bar remaining. In a few minutes though there is another bar, and sometimes 2.

When I leave it in my cold car for a couple hours, and bring it into the house, this happens as well.

Does this happen to anyone else?
