I heard of some apps taking a power point presentation and making possible to see it on your cell phone. Is this possible to do with the k1m and, if yes, how?

i looked on amazon and motorola, but i can't find it anywhere!

It appears many of us KRZR k1m owners have tried with limited success to use Motorola Phone Tools to talk to our phones. Because I have not seen a success story on this forum, I thought I would post one!

After several days of banging my head against the screen, I was finally able to get the Motorola Phone Tools to recognize and talk to my KRZR k1m. I'm with Sprint, but hopefully this will work for any carrier. Here's what I had to do to make it work:

1) Installed Motorola Phone Tools (version 4.03 off the CD I bought).

2) Installed Motorola_Software_Update.exe to install the necessary drivers to be able to talk to the phone at all. This is found at the following URL:

Hello all, I just bought my KRZR today, I have a nokia 512 MB micro sd card, i put it in correctly im sure, it wont go in any more, but for some reason the phone isn't acknoledging that the card is even there, please any help would be greatly appreciated.

I downloaded a podcast as an MP3 file in my hard drive and I made a copy of it on the memory card in "my sounds" folder. For some reason the phone doesn't see this file. I repeated the same with an other podcast, also an MP3 file. Again, the phone will show me the folder as empty. I put MP3 songs in "my music" and MP4 videos in "my videos" and I had no problem listening to or watching them. Any secret here? Thanks for your help

Anyone updated their K1M software recently? There is a new version available from Motorola's website. 24.1_01.09...

I wondered if anyone has a version later then 24.1_00.25OC on their phone who can tell me if they have the ability to change font sizes yet? Thanks.

Hello everyone.I currently have the LG Lime Chocolate. I love the phone, but there are just too many problems with it. First and foremost the battery life absolutely SUCKS on the phone!!! I have music on the phone, but hardly access it, and I never play games on it. Unless I leave it on the charger all the time throughout the day it is usually dead by 7 p.m. after a day of moderate use. I had the 8300 before, and the Chocolate can't even begin to live up to that phone's quality!! Another thing I hate is i will sometimes open the Chocolate, and it is just a blank white screen. So I turn it off and back on to try to get the regular screen back and it sometimes takes 10-15 tries to get the "white screen" to go away.

I can't seem to program my phone to remember new words in iTap. I have tried entering them letter by letter with iTap, as the manual seems to suggest, entering the word in abc and immediately switching to iTap at the end of the word, etc. It doesn't seem to store them in the dictionary. Anyone else have this problem or know how to store new words?

Txting on my 8600 was so much easier, other than the fact that the keypad had no raised divisions between buttons. It did smileys automatically in t9, does the krzr do those? It would also even store words like be4 and combinations like that...

so i am now planning on celling my cdma krzr and was considering doing it on ebay, but i don't really know how much its worth.

its been used for about six months, has a few signs of use-- some of the chrome paint is chipping off of the side buttons an off of the numerical keypad, theres one small scratch on the outside glass, a few small scuffs on the lower corners, and the metal cover on the lower part of the front is slightly bent. in other words, its been used thoroughly. it still works as well as it ever did, however.

i still have the box and the instructions, and i would also want to sell it with the unopened car charger and the music essentials kit that i bought with it. how much do you think all of that might go for?

I have a sprint KRZR, and its slower then sludge, going from standby to menu, and anywhere else is laggy, so is scrolling anywhere, or accessing the stored photos. Anyone have any ideas how to make it go faster??

i just bought the phone i want to put an edited mp3 sound as a ringtone, the bitrate is at 64 kbps like all other mp3 sounds that comes with the phone as default.

I cant set my edited sound as ringtone but the others that came with the phone with the same bitrate work.

why cant i set my sound as ringtone?
if there's a way please guide me.

I recently updated the firmware on my Verizon KRZR K1M. It is now at 24.1_01.08.04. Ever since I updated, my Bluetooth hasn't worked and I can't use my Bluetooth headset. After discovering the problem on my original, I called Verizon and had them send me an FRU. I'm on #2 and the problem still exists. I narrowed down the problem down and found that the Bluetooth doesn't work only when the MicroSD card is inserted into the phone. As soon as I remove it, Bluetooth works again. I have even tried backing up all the files and reformatting the card thinking a corrupt file on the card is causing the problem. It still doesn't work. When I go into the Bluetooth menu on the phone and try to turn it on or place it in 'Discovery' mode, the phone just qu...

My sons motorola phones including his krzr, all develop a problem where they will just reset themselves, (every 30 seconds or so) when just sitting, texting, and other operations. But it will stay on for a call?????????????? any ideas?

SO I connected up my phone (VZW) to my comp, and found that I could actually send pictures to and from my phone. I could also see music files, but I couldn't send them.

I was stunned. I don't remember OBEX being available on the krzr. Can anyone else send music files?

Its a decent phone however I am seeming to have a problem with the inbox for text messages. For some strange reason it only will hold 6 messages and then if someone sends one and i have 6 already in the inbox i will not receive the message until i have cleared all the messages. The frist day it ocul hold 40 so i dont know why all a sudden it can only hold 6 and it doesnt give me a warning that the memory is full because there is tons of memory left on the card. I brought it in to the store i purchused it from and explained the problem they reset it and claimed it was fixed however it still has the same problem.. Ive called rogers and they said they have never heard of it and sent me on a wild goose chase htrough mnay lines,holds and computer...

What I thought would happen finally did. My min-usb port cover on the side of the phone fell off. Anyone know of a replacement?
