Sprint Committed to Offering Unlimited Data
Unlimited Data for Smartphones... Makes Complete Sense
I simply cannot wrap my mind around as to why someone would invest into an advanced device and not go with the carrier with unlimited data other than geographic coverage limitations. But if you can get Sprint, then get it.
A two Gigabyte cap? Are you serious AT&T, VZW & TMo , what can you do with that?
VZW promotes on their ads an LG Phone that comes preloaded with Netflix (nevermind that its a free app for most advanced Android devices) the standard movie is 750 mbs to 1.25 gbs two of those and you're through for the month or pay the upcharge of $10 / gb. Same rate for AT&T and Tmo will throttle you back to a stoneage speed of 2G until the end of your cycle.

100% in agreement with you! What sense does it make to have more & more advanced smartphones then kill unlimited data. Sprint has poor coverage where I live or I would be with them in a heartbeat. For now, using Verizon's prepaid unlimited data plan ...

If you use only 100-200MB a month because you're constantly on WiFi (which is faster and BETTER than any 3G or even 4G network, and is better for battery life) why should you be stuck paying for an 'unlimited' data plan that you'll never, ever use or ...

With the network in the shape it is limiting data would kill sprint. They will limit data once they reach the levels of speed that the competition has.
Sprint's network is capable of handling unlimited data just fine. They have the provisions to increase bandwidth capacity if needed.
If Sprint's unlimited is killed off, it will not be due to network issues.
