Anyone with this phone?

What's the speed you get with the speedtest app on this phone on 3G?
I regularly get 3-3.5 mbps.

Not too bad. 🙂

You guys are dumb

Use common sense now, its a GSM phone on T-Mo, itll have access to the HSPA+ and the camera is the same as the one in the other galaxy S phones so it will record 720p, and Flash support is native to android 2.2 so yes android 2.3 will definitely support it.
Great thread. "You guys are so dumb"... you should have followed that up with "I'm in 2nd grade and don't know how to express my feelings yet"

Please don't call people dumb. That's inappropriate.

...the camera is the same as the one in the other galaxy S phones so it will record 720p...

That would make sense, but for some reason it doesn't seem to be the c...

Also, no, it does not support HSPA+. It's HSPA 7.2.

Calling people dumb then posts misinformation 🙄

Isn't this same as Galaxy S?

All of the specs are the same except Gingerbread 2.3. I have the Vibrant. Hope they will release update for 2.3 but won't hold my breath. Still waiting for Froyo 2.2.
BTW, its HSPA+ not 4g. Still I do agree, With TMO and other vendors discounting the heck out of G2, it can be a far better deal. Got my G2 on Cyber Monday for free. There is not $529 plus sales tax difference between the two.

Not worth upgrading to--

--from the original Nexus One. Especially since the Nexus One will get Gingerbread.
Agreed. As a nexus one owner, this doesn't seem that big of an upgrade. heck, the droid x and evo are better phones (albeit CDMA), and I was even disappointed that Google didn't make it worthy this time.

At least there is no touch wiz

When I heard that samsung was making the next Nexus, I knew they would find a way to mess it up.

No Sd Card????
Questionable 720p????
No HSPA +????

I suppose it could be worse, they could have WIZZED on the phone and put that touchWIZ on it.

At this point, I think you would be far better off getting a G2. At least it is 4g, has 720p and an sd card reader.

Guess I will wait now to see what dual core offerings are coming soon because for me, the lack of 4g and an sd card reader are an epic fail.

No 4G, and no SD Memory?

Am I missing something on the specs? I do not see if the Nexus S has 4G and or a SD card slot.
also, did not find any Flash 10 support...
...
You're not missing anything.

It has no memory card slot, the HSPA tops out at 7.2 mbps (which is fast, but not HSPA+) and it does not record HD video.
