Vaguely related flame post.

Imagine how a company, as innovative as this one, would do if the AT&T/T-Mobile merger had been allowed to go through. ESPECIALLY if the predictions of the government control advocates are correct and AT&T's prices went through the roof following the merger.

People would be scouring the country for alternatives, leaving the big bad "monopolies," "duopolies," or whatever you want to call them behind and looking for companies just like this!

But the status quo remains. Nothing changes because "change is bad for the consumer." Rate plans will remain the same and it will be harder and harder for companies like this to take off.

Oh well, at least we have an awesome nation-wide LTE service coming pretty soon who has purchased billions o...

If only this company wasn't in beta & open to everyone.

DAMN! I wish I would have got in on the beta but I passed when I read the terms of using the cellular network. I didn't want to be limited to WiFi only with the little usage that was available on Sprint's Cell Network. This, for me & family, will be PERFECT! Sprint has terrible coverage where I live but being on WiFi, that will be no problem but when we travel to other areas or elsewhere around Albuquerque, Sprint has excellent coverage. Open up the beta for us Republic or drop the beta and open for everyone Republic!! Please help us escape from Simple Mobile!
More like, "help us escape from AT&T and Verizon". Sprint isn't so bad, but you have got to wonder how Republic will make money if they offer truly unlimited service for $20/mth. I just don't see them being able to hold that line. The funny ...
